Samsung Announces Galaxy Book6 Laptop for $799

Samsung will launch the Galaxy Book6 on October 5 at a starting price of $799, featuring Intel Core 3 or 5 processors and a claimed 25-hour battery life under lab conditions.

The base model includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, positioning it as a Windows alternative to the $699 MacBook Neo, though it lacks the latter's higher screen resolution and brightness.

The device does not qualify for Microsoft's Copilot+ AI certification, as its NPU provides approximately 15 TOPS of processing power compared to the 35 TOPS found in Apple's competing hardware.
