China Reportedly Plans to Arm Iran With Missile Systems

Iran has reportedly agreed to a $70 million deal to purchase 300 to 400 Chinese-made QW-12 and FN-16 shoulder-fired air-defence missile systems to bolster its military defences.

The contract involves the Hong Kong-based firm Zhongqing Baoshang International Investment, with shipments expected to transit through Pakistan, though Pakistan's military has denied any involvement in the transport.

China's Foreign Ministry dismissed the Reuters report as groundless, while US President Donald Trump warned of potential retaliatory strikes following a surprise attack on US forces.
