Relocated Tigress Dooars Rani Captured In Assam And Returned To Buxa Reserve

Dooars Rani, a three-year-old tigress relocated from Bihar to Buxa Tiger Reserve on October 2, was captured in Assam on Tuesday.

The tigress had crossed into Assam's Raimona National Park on October 25 while exploring for habitat across the Sankosh River.

Forest Minister Manoj Oraon confirmed the tigress was safely tranquilised near human settlements and returned to Buxa.
