Manchester United dropped to 16th place in the 20-team Premier League following a 3-0 home defeat against Bournemouth on Sunday.
Manager Michael Carrick left club captain Bruno Fernandes out of the matchday squad, extending United's winless run across all competitions to eight matches.
The team will need to regroup quickly under mounting pressure to avoid further relegation battles and reverse their poor domestic campaign form.
