A Fast Track Court in Chhattisgarh's Surajpur district sentenced three men to death and one to life imprisonment on Thursday for murdering a police head constable's wife and 11-year-old daughter in 2024.
District and Additional Sessions Judge Anand Prakash Wariyal awarded the death penalty to Kuldeep Sahu, Chandrakant Chaudhary, and Phool Singh, while Aryan Vishwakarma received life imprisonment.
Police stated that Sahu, a repeat offender, attacked the victims at their home after throwing hot oil at a constable and attempting to run over law enforcement personnel during a Durga procession.
