Ace Guitarist Sada ‘Master’ Passes Away at 80

S. Sadanandam, popularly known as Sada ‘Master’, whose guitar work enriched numerous compositions of Ilaiyaraaja, passed away in Chennai on Thursday at the age of 80.

Starting his career in the mid-1970s with the film Annakili, Sada contributed memorable guitar and instrumental passages to classic songs across Tamil cinema.

Composer Ilaiyaraaja expressed deep sadness over the loss, noting that Sadanandam had been an integral part of his musical journey since the early days.
