The finance ministry announced that Central government employees, industrial staff, and pensioners will receive their September salaries and wages in advance on September 25.
The advance disbursement aims to mitigate disruptions caused by a nationwide three-day bank strike called by the United Forum of Bank Unions from September 28 to 30.
The finance ministry directed all banks, including Regional Rural Banks, to remain operational on Sunday to assist customers before the strike begins.
