Sallyann Applegarth will become the new headteacher of Nascot Wood Infant and Nursery School in September, replacing Pam Scragg who is retiring after 21 years.
The school, which currently serves 180 pupils from Reception to Year 2, was recently rated 'outstanding' in personal development and early years provision by Ofsted.
The leadership transition coincides with the school's 50th anniversary year, with Applegarth joining from her current role as deputy head at Cassiobury Infant School.
