Reddit CEO Steve Huffman announced plans on Friday to mandate user logins for accessing most platform content.
The company will test the logged-in-only browsing experience in selected international markets outside the United States over coming months.
The policy aims to personalize content recommendations, increase ad revenue, and limit unauthorized data scraping by automated bots.
