Pakistan Navy vessel collides with Indian warship in North Arabian Sea

A Pakistani offshore patrol vessel, PNS Hunain, collided with the Indian Navy destroyer INS Kolkata in the North Arabian Sea on September 15 during a high-speed manoeuvre.

India summoned Pakistan's Chargé d'Affaires to lodge a strong protest, citing violations of Article 10 of the 1991 bilateral agreement requiring three nautical miles of separation.

INS Kolkata sustained no major damage and remained deployed at sea, while PNS Hunain suffered damage and returned to harbour as both nations disputed the sequence of events.
