Yogi Adityanath announces free LPG cylinders for Ujjwala beneficiaries in UP

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that eligible families under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will receive one free LPG cylinder on Diwali and Holi.

The state government allocated Rs 1,500 crore for distribution of refill subsidies to over 1.89 crore beneficiaries, easing the out-of-pocket cost for domestic gas consumers.

Adityanath also highlighted Ayodhya's upcoming Deepotsav on November 7 as a symbol of social unity, contrasting the double-engine government's cultural initiatives with past political administrations.
