NTPC Q2 standalone net profit rises 14% to ₹5,320 crore

State-owned power producer NTPC Ltd. reported a 14.3% year-on-year rise in standalone net profit to ₹5,320 crore for the September quarter.

The company's commercial generation increased by 11.1% to 92.413 billion units, supported by increased power demand following a deficient monsoon.

Revenue from operations grew nearly 17% year-on-year to ₹45,752 crore, while consolidated net profit jumped 40.7% to ₹7,351 crore.
