Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Union Minister J.P. Nadda, and State Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav virtually inaugurated 50-bed critical care blocks in Ongole and Nellore GGHs.

The state-of-the-art facility at Ongole Government General Hospital was constructed at a cost of ₹23.75 crore through central and state partnership.

Social Welfare Minister Dola Sree Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy stated that the blocks will provide immediate emergency care to critically ill patients and become fully operational within two weeks.
