Cricket Australia Updates Policy After Gardner-Voll Relationship

Cricket Australia will retain Ashleigh Gardner as vice-captain but has updated its "Respect at Work" policy to manage potential conflicts of interest regarding her relationship with teammate Georgia Voll.

CEO Todd Greenberg confirmed on Wednesday that Gardner must now recuse herself from all selection discussions involving Voll, including talks with selectors and captain Sophie Molineux.

Gardner publicly addressed the matter on Thursday, stating she understands the need for policy updates given her leadership position and remains committed to supporting her teammates.
