Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand reaffirmed India's status as a key partner, highlighting its role as one of the world's fast-growing economies.
The remarks followed a bilateral meeting between Anand and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on the margins of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The ministers welcomed significant progress in implementing the Canada-India roadmap across trade, security, energy, mobility, innovation and defence.
