Former Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain Arrested in Jal Board Corruption Case

The Delhi Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) arrested former minister Satyendar Jain on Tuesday in connection with alleged financial irregularities involving Delhi Jal Board (DJB) tender processes.

The investigation focuses on the awarding of sewage treatment plant (STP) contracts, with five other individuals also taken into custody for their alleged roles in the multi-crore scam.

AAP leadership has condemned the arrest as political vendetta, while the BJP has demanded a full audit of the Jal Board's finances to uncover the extent of the alleged corruption.
