Kiratpur Primary School in Darbhanga is using benches, desks, and bricks to support its roof after a pillar collapsed three to four months ago.
The 1983 school building has only two usable rooms, with lessons now conducted in open areas and a kitchen shed due to structural damage.
Darbhanga district education officer Vidyanand Thakur stated that a new six-room building has been proposed through the Bihar School Infrastructure Development Corporation.
