Houthi rebels killed at least 30 government soldiers and injured 15 in missile and drone attacks on military camps in Hadramout and Marib governorates on Thursday.
The strikes occurred at 2pm local time, targeting facilities including the Homeland Shield Forces and Emergency Forces, with the Houthis firing eight missiles from al-Jawf governorate.
The US embassy condemned the attacks as cowardly, while Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree claimed the strikes were a response to military build-ups by Saudi-backed government forces.
