The Madhya Pradesh High Court disposed of appeals from the Muslim side regarding the partial demolition of the Shahi Masjid in Ujjain.
Petitioners stated that a settlement was reached with the Ujjain Municipal Corporation concerning the removal of obstructions to facilitate road widening.
The court confirmed that interim assurances provided by the municipal corporation remain binding on the civic body following the settlement.
