Bullets Found in Art Supply Shipment at Suffolk County School

A teacher at an Eastport-South Manor school in New York discovered a box of ammunition while unpacking an art supply order from Blick Art Materials on Tuesday.

Preliminary investigations by Suffolk County police indicate the incident was a shipping error, as the ammunition was intended for a sporting goods store in Louisiana.

Blick Art Materials stated the package was likely intermingled during third-party carrier handling and is currently coordinating with the school district to investigate the mix-up.
