
The National Testing Agency will re-conduct UGC-NET exams for English, Commerce, and Sociology from September 9 to 10, 2026, following errors in the original question papers.
The English and Sociology papers are scheduled for September 9 and 10 respectively in Shift 1, while the Commerce paper will take place on September 9 in Shift 2.
Results for the 84 subjects already conducted were released Friday, with over 97,000 candidates qualifying for PhD admissions and 4,000 for Junior Research Fellowships.
