MNS and Shiv Sena (UBT) to Protest ECI on October 4

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray announced a joint public march with Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai on October 4 against electoral roll revisions.

The protest aims to raise concerns over the Special Intensive Revision process, which Thackeray alleged was conducted fraudulently by ECI chief Gyanesh Kumar as a wing of the BJP.

Thackeray called upon opposition parties across the country to unite and demand that future elections be conducted using ballot papers instead of electronic voting machines.
