Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge accused Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar of treason during a mock parliament held by the INDIA bloc in Delhi.
Kharge alleged the CEC orchestrated vote manipulation, deleted 13.2 crore voters during the Special Intensive Revision, and bypassed other election commissioners.
The public impeachment proceedings were held at Kharge's residence after being postponed due to rain, ahead of a planned November 1 rally demanding Kumar's removal.
