Elon Musk agrees to settle lawsuits over 2024 election lottery

Elon Musk and his America PAC political action committee agreed to settle two proposed class-action lawsuits in federal court in Austin, Texas.

The lawsuits alleged Musk defrauded residents in swing states before the 2024 US election by promising a daily $1 million lottery-style giveaway to petition signatories.

The court filings did not disclose the settlement terms, and lawyers involved declined to comment pending court approval.
