Former US Open champion Graeme McDowell announced on X that he will not participate in LIV Golf's proposed next phase, ending his four-year tenure with the league.
McDowell joined LIV Golf in May 2022 after giving up his PGA Tour membership and competed for teams including Cleeks, Smash, and OKGC.
His exit comes amid financial restructuring following Saudi PIF's withdrawal of support, with BC Partners financing a revamped LIV 2.0 format for 2027.
