Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the completed Barapullah Phase-3 elevated corridor on Tuesday, connecting Mayur Vihar Phase-1 and AIIMS.
The 9-kilometer signal-free corridor aims to reduce travel time between East Delhi, Noida, and AIIMS from 40 minutes to about 15 minutes.
The ₹1,635-crore project features India's first flyover corridor equipped with a dedicated cycle track, footpaths, and a bridge structure over the Yamuna floodplain.
