
Telangana recorded 230 dengue cases between April and July 2026, according to data from the National Centre for Vector Borne Diseases Control.
Recent surveillance up to August 6 showed 532 cases in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area, with Rangareddy reporting 196 and Warangal Urban 142 cases.
While the state reported 8,412 cases in 2025, health officials noted that current dengue activity is sporadic, with influenza currently being more prevalent in the region.
