UGC Approves One-Year Postgraduate Programmes

The University Grants Commission has officially approved the implementation of one-year postgraduate programmes under the National Education Policy 2020.

These programmes are now permitted to be offered through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online modes to increase academic flexibility.

The move is part of a broader effort to align higher education structures with global standards and provide students with more diverse learning pathways.
