CTI Asks Congress to Postpone Nov 1 Rally Over Festive Trade Risks

The Chamber of Trade and Industry urged Congress leader Sonia Gandhi to postpone the party's November 1 rally at Ramlila Maidan to protect festive trade.

The traders' body warned that the demonstration could disrupt business worth ₹10,000 to ₹12,000 crore across 20 major wholesale and retail markets in Delhi.

CTI suggested shifting the venue to Burari Ground or rescheduling the event past Diwali, noting that Dhanteras falls on November 6.
