JioHotstar Expands Global Streaming Service to UK and Canada

JioHotstar is launching in the UK, Canada, and Singapore on September 2, replacing the existing Hotstar service with a library of 160,000 hours of entertainment content.

The new platform will not include live sports at launch, such as the IPL or Wimbledon, due to existing content deals, though the company may add them later.

Subscription pricing is set at £19.99 quarterly in the UK and CA$19.99 quarterly in Canada, with content available in 12 languages including Hindi, English, and Marathi.
