Titan shares surge 3% as net profit doubles and Noel Tata announces exit

Titan Company shares surged over 3% to touch ₹5,001.90 on Dhanteras after reporting that its second-quarter net profit more than doubled to ₹2,393 crore.

Revenue from operations grew 25% year-on-year to ₹20,533 crore, boosted by strong demand for higher-margin studded jewellery.

Noel Tata announced his retirement as Vice Chairman and Director effective November 12, complying with mandatory Companies Act age guidelines.
