Praveen Chithravel Wins Triple Jump Silver at Commonwealth Games

Indian athlete Praveen Chithravel won the silver medal in the men's triple jump at the 2026 Commonwealth Games with a leap of 16.58m.

Chithravel overcame freezing weather conditions to secure the podium finish, improving upon his fifth-place standing after the opening three rounds.

The athlete, who missed a medal by 2cm in 2022, is now shifting his focus to the Asian Games 2026 scheduled for September 19 in Japan.
