Ten Nifty 50 constituents, including Bajaj Finserv, Infosys, and TCS, recorded double-digit losses in September as the benchmark index dropped 6% amid a broader market sell-off.
Bajaj Finserv was the top laggard on the index, falling 14.35% to ₹1,731, while Infosys and TCS declined 13.1% and 12.4% respectively.
The broader market pressure stems from elevated crude prices, persistent foreign investor selling, and surging global bond yields, putting Nifty 50 on track for its worst annual decline since 2011.
