Canada unveiled its 2027–2029 Immigration Levels Plan, maintaining annual permanent resident admissions at 380,000 over the next three years.
The plan introduces a time-limited measure providing up to 200,000 additional permanent residence spaces in 2027 for eligible people already living in Canada.
Annual temporary resident targets remain capped at 370,000 individuals, comprising 220,000 workers and 150,000 international students.
