Pakistan Appoints Michael Smith as Men's Batting Coach

The Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed the appointment of 46-year-old Michael Smith as the men's batting coach on a two-year contract starting Tuesday, August 4.

Smith, a Level 4 qualified coach with previous experience in the Pakistan Super League, will work with both red-ball and white-ball squads to address recent batting inconsistencies.

His first assignment will be preparing the team for the three-Test series against England, which is scheduled to commence on August 19.
