SEBI to Issue Consultation Paper on Derivatives Settlement Price Methodology

The Securities and Exchange Board of India is set to review derivative contract settlement price methodology and issue a consultation paper on Saturday.

The review follows sharp index swings on expiry days after the rollout of the Closing Auction Session framework in August.

SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey confirmed that the Closing Auction Session mechanism will be retained despite market concerns.
