Karnataka Minister B. Nagendra Resigns Following Scam Allegations

Karnataka Minister B. Nagendra resigned from his cabinet post on August 29, 2026, amid ongoing investigations into the Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation scam.

Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi confirmed the resignation, noting that while the state CID has issued a clean chit, the Enforcement Directorate investigation remains ongoing.
