The Portuguese Football Federation handed Cristiano Ronaldo a 30-day suspension and a €255 fine for abruptly leaving the national team camp in Denmark.
The disciplinary council upheld the charge after Ronaldo left following a dispute with coach Jorge Jesus over being omitted from the starting lineup.
Portugal has already qualified for the Nations League knockout stage and is scheduled to face Denmark at home on November 14.
