The Special Executive Magistrate Court extended the judicial custody of Cockroach Janta Party leaders Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav Das by two days on Monday.
The court cited police investigations showing the leaders mobilized protests at Jantar Jantar, a de-notified protest site, breaching security during an anti-CEC stir.
The Cockroach Janta Party condemned the proceedings, terming the preventive detention a complete mockery of the legal process and state-sponsored overreach.
