Former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly and his wife Dona received death threats via letters delivered to his office in Kolkata on Monday.
The Thakurpukur police station has launched an investigation into the sender, identified as Arun from Belghoria, North 24 Parganas, by tracking courier trails and mobile numbers.
Ganguly’s secretary reported that the couple had been receiving objectionable letters for months, but the latest correspondence contained explicit threats to kill them and harm their associates.
