Modern Warfare 4 Beta Steam Player Count Drops 65 Percent

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 beta saw concurrent player counts on Steam fall from a peak of 115,145 on August 21 to under 38,000 over the weekend.

Players have reported technical issues including choppy visuals, frame-pacing problems, and input delays, alongside complaints regarding the game's aim assist and map design.

Activision is scheduled to host a second, free-to-play beta session starting August 28, ahead of the game's official release in October.
