The Election Commission of India is declaring bypoll results for five Assembly seats across West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry, alongside the Nagaon Lok Sabha seat in Assam.
The polling process faced allegations of voter intimidation and booth irregularities, marked by the arrest of Aam Janata Unnayan Party chief Humayun Kabir in Rejinagar.
The results are expected to indicate the political standing of the ruling BJP in West Bengal, the four-month-old TVK government in Tamil Nadu, and the AINRC-led coalition in Puducherry.
