Veteran Malayalam Actor Savithri Sreedharan Dies at 78

Veteran Malayalam actor Savithri Sreedharan passed away at her residence in Kozhikode, Kerala, at the age of 78.

She was critically acclaimed for her role as Jameela in 'Sudani from Nigeria', winning the Kerala State Film Award for Best Character Actress.

Sreedharan had a theatre career spanning nearly five decades before entering professional theatre in 1984.
