Anthropic introduced Claude Duet, an always-on personal AI agent designed for professionals and small business owners to handle administrative and complex tasks.

Powered by Claude Opus 5.5, the agent operates in a cloud-based virtual machine and connects to over 6,000 external apps including Canva and DocuSign.

The agent is currently available as a research preview for U.S. Pro and Max plan subscribers on a waitlist, with built-in safeguards and auto-mode classifiers.
