Only 250 Kerala institutions hold 'Eat Right Campus' certification

A total of only 250 institutions in Keralam hold the FSSAI Eat Right Campus certification, while the validity for 204 other institutions has expired.

Kannur leads districts with 27 certified institutions, followed by Kollam and Thrissur with 25 each, and Kasaragod with seven.

Officials cited procedural delays, limited staff strength, and a lack of self-initiative among institutions as reasons for the slow pace of the project.
