Google has officially announced plans to shift its entire Pixel smartphone manufacturing supply chain out of China by 2027 to mitigate geopolitical and operational risks.
The company aims to scale production to 13 million units annually, with a significant portion of this capacity expected to be relocated to existing facilities in India.
This strategic pivot follows similar moves by other tech giants, as Google seeks to decouple its hardware business from the regulatory and economic burdens associated with Chinese manufacturing.
