Uttar Pradesh Government Hikes Dearness Allowance by 3 Percent

The Uttar Pradesh government hiked the Dearness Allowance by 3% for State government employees, raising it to 63% from 60%, effective July 1, 2026.

The decision benefits 16 lakh regular employees, staff in aided educational and technical institutions, urban local bodies, work-charged employees, and pensioners.

The enhanced allowance will be disbursed along with the regular salary for November 2026, providing financial relief across the State.
