Legspinner Karn Sharma Announces Retirement from All Cricket Formats

Karn Sharma, 38, announced his retirement from international and domestic cricket on August 22, 2026, following a career spanning nearly two decades.

The legspinner represented India in one Test, two ODIs, and one T20I in 2014 and won four IPL titles with Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mumbai Indians, and Chennai Super Kings.

Sharma will make his final professional appearance for the Kanpur Superstars in the UP T20 League on August 25 before transitioning into coaching roles.
