Sidhant Gupta Replaces Farhan Akhtar in Aamir Khan's Lalkaara

Sidhant Gupta has replaced Farhan Akhtar in the Aamir Khan-starrer Lalkaara, a sports drama based on the 1952 India-Pakistan Test series.

Farhan Akhtar exited the acting role due to scheduling conflicts with a Neeraj Pandey biopic on R.D. Burman but remains involved as a producer under Excel Entertainment.

Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the film features Aamir Khan as Lala Amarnath and is scheduled to begin shooting in Mumbai on October 1.
