The Ministry of Education's Department of School Education & Literacy conducted a nationwide screening of a 30-minute orientation module on inclusive education through the PRASHAST portal.
Over 60,000 schools participated in the initiative, which aims to familiarize teachers and non-teaching staff with supporting Children with Special Needs under the NEP 2020 and RPwD Act.
The training module has been made available in 12 Indian languages, building on previous efforts that have already sensitized over 72 lakh general teachers over the past three months.
